A  N  T  I  Q  U  I  T  Y

In this eye-popping series we explore -- through the artworks -- an organic and natural entropy of the art and architecture of ancient civilizations such as Atlantis and Lemuria. These are pure abstractions that are fashioned with a specific technique allowing a "crackling" and decaying of the paint, creating a textural appearance that reflects antiquity.

 

Bold colors such as reds, whites, golds, and blacks are used in contrast with one another, and landscapes are forced into the background where  liquid splatter paint occupies the foreground.

 

Some of the works emanate a "stained-glass" effect that is reminiscent of the windows of ancient cathedrals. Others are less textural and more fluid. But all of them reflect what was once tens and hundreds of thousands of years ago, in our ancient past.
